General Information	Reflexive Testing Information: Initial testing is performed for serum protein electrophoresis. Samples demonstrating unusual protein band restrictions will be referred for immunofixation (IFIX) to identify at an additional charge.

Specimen Collection / Processing Instructions	Refrigerate serum. Make two aliquots: 0.5 mL to IMM for ELP and 0.5 mL to CHEM for ETP.
Minimum Sample Volume	requested: 0.5 mL serum ELP; 0.5 mL for TP
