Brian E. Staley, M.D.

Dr. Staley is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. 

He graduated from the University of Utah Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, ARUP Laboratories and affiliated hospitals. 

Dr. Staley came to InCyte Pathology in 2006 from AmeriPath-Utah, where he was Managing Director and Utah State CAP Commissioner.  He has also served as the medical director of laboratories in Utah, Wyoming, Arizona and Alaska. 

His subspecialty interests include cytology and gynecologic and gastrointestinal pathology. 

Dr. Staley learned to speak Japanese while living in Japan for two years, and he has worked as a laboratory accreditation consultant for several large Japanese laboratories.
