History

1957
   -  Alton Stier, M.D. joins his brother & father at Stier Laboratories.
   -  Later that year, Dr. Stier joins M. Patton, M.D., to form Patton-Stier Laboratories.  The laboratory was housed in the
      Paulsen Medical Dental Building.

1964
   - Pathologist staffing increases to three.
   - Provided Laboratory Medical Director services at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA.

1965
   - Dr. Patton's interest in the laboratory was purchased.
   - Laboratory was renamed Pathology Associates.
   - A b
usiness manager was hired.
   - Pathologist staffing increases to four.
   - Management of the Laboratory transferred to a partnership of pathologists with rotating medical                             directorship responsibilities.
   - Provided Laboratory Medical Director services at Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Spokane Valley, WA.

1969
   - Pathology Associates splits into two entities - Pathology Associates Inc., P.S. (currently InCyte Pathology,
       P.S.) and Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML)

1971 
   - Laboratory moves to the North Spokane Professional Building on Lidgerwood St. in Spokane, WA.  

1974
   - Pathologist staffing increases to six.

1980
   - Provided Laboratory Medical Director services at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID

1983
   - Laboratory moves to a location in the Spokane Valley – 11604 E Indiana Avenue
   - PAML (clinical laboratory) sold to International Clinical Laboratories; Pathology Associates Inc., PS,
       (anatomic laboratory) retained by pathologist-owners
   - Inc. PS provides medical directorship for PAML and contracts for certain PAML services (courier,
       education, etc)

1993 
   - Pathologist staffing increases to ten. 

1998
   - Pathology Associates Inc., P.S., takes over leased employees from PAML (approximately fifty employees).

2000
   - Provided Laboratory Medical Director services at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA.

2001
   - PAML moves to a location in downtown Spokane; Pathology Associates, Inc PS remains at Indiana address.

2002
   - Sacred Heart Medical Center employee-pathologists join Pathology Associates Inc., PS, increases 
      pathologist staffing to seventeen.

2003
   - Pathology Associates Inc., P.S., changes name to InCyte Pathology, P.S.
   - Provided Laboratory Medical Director services at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland, WA.

2005
   - New InCyte Pathology laboratory completed at 13103 E Mansfield Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA.
