InCyte Pathology is the premier provider of anatomic diagnostic services in the Northwest. Our state-of-the-art facility based in Spokane Valley, Washington, is owned and operated by pathologists dedicated to providing patients with comprehensive anatomic laboratory services.   

Anatomic pathology is the science of disease diagnosis based on the appearance and results of tissue testing. Anatomic labs are different than clinical labs, which test body fluids such as blood and urine.

The most current technology and testing are employed to enhance result accuracy, create efficiencies and detect diseases earlier. Some of the specialized procedures we use include Immunohistochemistry, FISH, Urovysion and Immunofluorescence testing. 

A Focus on Expertise

At InCyte Pathology, we are committed to ongoing education and accreditation from nationally recognized organizations.  

InCyte is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and annually undergoes inspections to ensure compliance with CAP standards. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program began in the 1960s and is recognized by the federal government as being equal to or more stringent than the government's own inspection program. In the past two years, InCyte has been awarded an "Accreditation with Distinction", based on staff qualifications, laboratory equipment, facility safety, and overall laboratory management. InCyte is also one of approximately 50 laboratories in the United States accredited by the American Society of Cytology.
